Major Project: Warning Previz Edit 01

With this second edit, I have added and edited a couple of scenes. More work still needs to be done in terms of camera placement. However, with this edit, it has given a few ideas on how to improve it as a whole. I am currently working on those ideas.

Major Project: Satin Sandals

After talking to Phil about my previz and the changes to be made, I realised that I had not modelled her satin sandals. Hence, I've gone back to model her feet and the sandals and skinned it.

Major Project: Warning Previz

The past week, I have been working on my previz, always referring it back to my initial animatics and did some reflections of what worked and what did not.

There a couple of lines that I have not got a scene for yet. They are:

I shall go out in my slippers in the rain
Or only bread and pickle for a week
And hoard pens and pencils and beermats and things in boxes.

Fantastic Voyage Final Previz

This is my final previz, and I have had the voice over to be in sync with the video. There are some timings that are a bit off but overall, I am happy as this has given me a rough idea of my final animation.

Fantastic Voyage - Opening Scene PreViz

I've taken into account the feedback I was given from the pitch and I have decided to do an establishing shot of the scene before I go into book. So here's a previz of what I am going to do for it.

Introduction to Previz- Camera Shake

Introduction to Previz- Coverage (Car Crash)

This tutorial slightly differs from the previous ones as there were multiple cameras used in the scene. After rendering the 5 different camera angles from the scene, I brought in the movie files into Premiere Pro for editing.

Screen Capture of the 5 Different Rendered Camera Angles
The way I edited this car crash scene was by taking half of an action from one shot and half from another to give it a nicely continuity. I did some experimentation as I edit the sequence and hence, producing a final edit that slightly differs from the tutorial.
