Fantastic Voyage Animatics- Version 3

Upon looking at my second animatic, I realised that there was a missing portion in the animation and it does not flow well. So for this third version, I have added the additional scene to show how the Male and Female sex organ looks like.

Soundscape Animatics Different Versions

I have 2 different versions to my soundscape animatics.
In the first version, I have added the men cheering on top of the ambience sound in the first few seconds to the animatics.
In my second animatic, I have replaced the cheer with music to create the tempo of this sequence as I feel that it helps to drive the sequence forward.

I am still debating with myself if I should completely take both away and leave it to the ambience sound to propel the story forward. Currently, I feel that it is too much to the sequence and it just kills off the sounds that I've recorded for it.

I am going to do more adjustments to it to see what works best for the sequence as a whole.

Adobe (Audition/Premiere Pro) Lesson 2

For this week's class, we were taught how to set up our project in Premiere Pro.

These are the things we are required before starting a new project:
1. HD Bars & Tone
2. Front Plate (This is where you have the title, version and date of your project)
3. Universal Counting Leader

After adding all of the above, we had to reset the timecode to be an hour as this is used in the industry.  We were told to always do this as it will prepare us for the industry in the near future.
The subsequent step would be that we had to place a video effects time code on our image for the project. This is to ensure that the video and sound are in sync for easier editing.

Once everything was set, we were tasked to compose a music score for the Soundscape project using Garageband. I took this opportunity to string together the different sounds from various instrument in that software and this was my rough cut.

As my intentions for this project is to make a musical, lively sequence, I think this soundtrack is working. This is far from done as specific noise such as the cracking machine as it being pushed around, sound of men humming and water flowing have yet to be added.

Adobe (Audition/Premiere Pro) Lesson 1- Soundscape (Golfer)

For this lesson, we were introduced to two new softwares from the Adobe Creative Suite- Audition and Premiere Pro. Audition is mainly used for sound editing and Premiere Pro is used for video editing.

The footage we were tasked to work with is a golfer who waits for his wife to leave the apartment before he picks up the stick and played. The golf ball broke the window glass, shocking the wife who was still within the parameters of the apartment.
