Minor Project: Animatics Version 3

From the planning I previously did, I went on to make the changes and I feel that this animatics reads better. However, I am still struggling with the part "I can wear terrible shirts and grow more fat" as I plan to have the character inflate and her button pops but I don't think it's reading quite well in this. Will continue to work on that.

Minor Project: Animatics Version 2 with Professional Voice Over

This is still my second version of animatic but with the professional voice over instead. We are currently working on the pitch and tones of the narration.

Minor Project: Animatics Version 2

This is my second version of my animatics, taking into consideration all the feedback I've received. I think everything reads better in comparison to my previous animatic.

Minor Project: Animatics Version 1 (Part 2)

This animatic is the second part of the poem.

I As for the narrator, I was able to secure a voiceover artist, Gayanne Potter, that I'll be working with for this project. She will be sending me some samples once she record the poem and we will work from there, tweaking the intonations/ pacing as and when needed. Hence, I have used the voice I had recorded prior to contacting Gayanne.

Minor Project: Animatics Version 1 (Part 1)

I've spent some time looking into the poem further like how old was Jenny when she wrote (She was 29) and how as a middle age woman, I tried to interpret how she would see herself when she's old. In my interpretation, I see my character to be a stylish old granny (around the age of 60) but youthful at heart. So this is what I've got so far as how the animatics would go.

I don't quite like the opening shot but I am thinking  if should have the start and the end of the whole animation as a loop.

In terms of the character design, I have narrowed it two types of women:
1) Short and chubby
2) Tall and awkward

Fantastic Voyage Animatics- Version 3

Upon looking at my second animatic, I realised that there was a missing portion in the animation and it does not flow well. So for this third version, I have added the additional scene to show how the Male and Female sex organ looks like.

Fantastic Voyage Animatics- Version 2

For the second version of the animatic, I have decided to add words to help my target audience understand what they have just heard and are about to see.

Soundscape Animatics Different Versions

I have 2 different versions to my soundscape animatics.
In the first version, I have added the men cheering on top of the ambience sound in the first few seconds to the animatics.
In my second animatic, I have replaced the cheer with music to create the tempo of this sequence as I feel that it helps to drive the sequence forward.

I am still debating with myself if I should completely take both away and leave it to the ambience sound to propel the story forward. Currently, I feel that it is too much to the sequence and it just kills off the sounds that I've recorded for it.

I am going to do more adjustments to it to see what works best for the sequence as a whole.

Like for Like Animatic

To get myself familiarised with Premiere Pro and getting used to the idea of having my storyboard turned into an animatic, I've used my Like for Like storyboard as a practice. After having done this, it gave me possible camera movements I can do for my soundscape project.
