Autdesk Maya Lesson 4: Dynamics Part 1 (Sketching Particles)

For today's lesson, we learnt there are different dynamics and the different settings it has got to offer. So for the tutorial, we were to create a set of particles by sketching them on a plane. After which, we had to make the balloon and the collide. This is the outcome from the tutorial.

Pipeline 1: Character UV Layout (The Head & Hair)

Here, I have laid out the UV for my character's head, hair, throat and eyebrow.

Part B (Character) - Silhouettes

In today's class, we were given a word and had to come up with silhouettes for it. Coincidentally, I got the word Robots that really helped me think of my character project. I am going to use the silhouettes from this class to help produce some for my own project.




Part A (Narrative) - Storyboard Ideas

As we had our story laid out, we decided to do our own version of storyboard and came up with 3 different ones. With this, we have decided to sew our three ideas together to up shape us with our finalised one.

As we have previously discussed, we knew what our character is a toy monkey so we went on to do some character sketches. This is what we've come up so far. With these drawings, it has helped us to get a rough idea on how our character should look like and taking into consideration his personality.
